Wool dryer balls last up to 4 years, saving you so much $$$ money and the environment from toxic dryer sheets.

When hanging clothes on the line to dry in the hotter months, I enjoy adding a drop of essential oils onto each ball and starting a 10-15 minute drying cycle before I hang my clothes on the line. Sheets smell fairly of wild orange or lavender, adding to a calming sleep. Clothes in the summer months smell faintly of peppermint or lemongrass, which helps keep the bugs away.

The colder months I like to add an essential oil that will combat colds and flu- clove, or an immune boosting blend (adding a drop to each ball every 3-4th cycle due to these type of essential oils tend to be hot on the skin.)

Fact : Dryer Sheets (like bounce) make your clothes flammable. Just ask your local Fire Fighter, Power Line Worker or Welder.

Maintenance : When your wool ball gets to pilled you may put it in a sock secured with an elastic or pantyhose. Throw it in the wash with clothes, keeping it still secure in the stocking for 2 dryer cycles and it will felt itself into a tight ball. Another method is to purchase a medium felting needle from your local wool shop, the tiny barbs from the needle when poking in and out of the wool ball will secure the wool, tightening it into itself.

I use 3 wool balls, the more balls you use the less drying time is needed.
